Special Features:Park lies on the shores of Blue Lake, an oxbow lake formed by themeanderings of the Missouri River many years ago. It was the site of an1804 Lewis and Clark encampment and includes a full-scale replica ofthe expedition's 55-foot keelboat Discovery.

Special Features:Park contains one of the Pacific Northwest's last stands of lowland old growth forest, and a great view of the crater of Mount Saint Helens. A self-guided half-mile interpretive trail features information on the forest.
