Low-Mountain Relief

a type of relief found in low mountains with relative elevations of about 1, 000 m. This type of relief is typical of the peripheral parts of mountain structures. Because of the low elevation of the mountains there is virtually no zonal differentiation. Differences are manifested only in the varying steepness and exposure of slopes and in lithological heterogeneity.
