Krasnogorskii

an urban-type settlement in Cheliabinsk Oblast, RSFSR. It has a railroad station (Krasnoselka) on the Cheliabinsk-Troitsk line and is located 70 km south of Cheliabinsk. Population, 14,000 (1970). Coal is mined there, and the settlement has a plant for the production of reinforced-concrete components.

an urban-type settlement in Zvenigov Raion, Mari ASSR. Located on the Ilet’ River (a tributary of the Volga), on the ZelenodoPsk-Ioshkar-Ola highway. Krasnogorskii has a railroad station (Ilef) on the ZelenodoPsk-Tabashino branch. It has a plant for the production of automobile vans, an experimental shoe-last factory, and sanatoriums.
