Nasosnyi

an urban-type settlement in the Azerbaijan SSR, under the jurisdiction of the Sumgait city soviet. Located on the Caspian Sea, 7 km from the city of Sumgait. Railroad station on the Rostov-on-Don-Baku line. Population, 7,400 (1973). The settlement has a fish-processing plant.
