Special Features:Chicago's largest city park, Lincoln Park is known for its statuary. Amemorial to Ulysses S. Grant, created in 1891 by Louis Rebisso,overlooks Cannon Drive at the south end of the zoo. A standing AbrahamLincoln (1887), by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, can be seen behind theChicago Historical Society. Other statues include a tribute to EugeneField (1922), Chicago Daily News columnist; William Shakespeare (1894);and Hans Christian Andersen (1896). The park is also home to theLincoln Park Zoo, the Lincoln Park Conservatory, and the Lincoln ParkCultural Center.
