Facilities:17 premium campsites (5 pull-through campsites and 12 with primelocations, all with water and electric hookups), 44 improved campsites,comfort stations, 14 cabins, rental lodge, 2 group camps, picnic area,group shelters, playgrounds, restrooms, hiking trails, bike trails,canoe trail (11 miles), 2 swimming pools, beach, 2 boat launches, boatrentals, baseball field, visitor/nature center.

Special Features:Lake Bistineau got its start in 1800 when a gigantic log jam on the Red River flooded the area. A permanent dam was built in 1935, increasing the lake's surface area to 27 square miles.
