Facilities:Hiking trails, picnic tables. There is no drinking water at the park.
Activities:Hiking, wildlife viewing, fishing.
Special Features:Park protects one of the state's most endangered natural communities,sand scrub (sometimes called Florida's desert). Some of Florida'srarest plants and animals are found in the scrub, including the Floridascrub-jay, Florida scrub lizard, Florida mouse, deer, gopher tortoise,and bobcat. This park is relatively new and is still being developed;it's best suited to those seeking a remote wilderness experience andnature study.
