Historic sites include Saratoga National Historical Park, Old Fort House Museum, Mount Defiance, Fort Ticonderoga, and Crown Point State Historic Site. State parks and preserves offer hiking trails, lakeside beaches, andopportunities for wildlife viewing. The Champlain Trail Bikeways are known as some of the best cycling trails in the country.
