释义 | Olmsted's syndromeOlmsted's syndromeA severely disfiguring but localized autosomal dominant disorder of the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet. There is gross overproduction of the outer horny layer of the epidermis (hyperkeratosis) with tight constriction bands around the bases of the fingers and toes that may lead to spontaneous amputation. The syndrome also features short stature and laxity of the joints. First described by H.C. Olmstead in 1927. |
