Lipovets

an urban-type settlement, the center of Lipovets Raion, Vinnitsa Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. It is located on the Sob River (a left tributary of the Iuzhnyi Bug), 13 km from the Lipovets railroad station (on the Khristinovka-Kazatin line). Lipovets has a repair plant, a brickworks, a dairy, a bakery, a food-processing combine, and a poultry incubator farm.
