Special Features:Park is named for Admiral Chester William Nimitz, commander-in-chief of the Pacific forces during World War II. The grounds include the Garden of Peace, The National Museum of the Pacific War, Admiral Nimitz Museum, Plaza of the Presidents, Memorial Wall, and Walk of Honor.
