Location:Central LaSalle County, 4 miles south of Utica and 3 miles east of Oglesby.
Facilities:Equestrian campground, picnic areas, playground, restrooms, markedhiking trails (5 miles), horseback riding trails (9 miles),cross-country ski trails (6 miles), horse rentals, ski rental(Dec-Mar), historic site, field archery range, radio-controlled modelairplane field.
Activities:Hiking (on marked trails only; unmarked areas aredangerous), horseback riding, camping (equestrian only), wildlifeviewing, hunting, cross-country skiing.
Special Features:Bluffs composed of 425-million-year-old sandstone, canyons formed bywater erosion, and Cascade Falls are among the park's striking naturalfeatures. An added attraction is a restored fort and stockade buildingsrepresentative of the type of forts built by the French in the midwestduring the 1600s and early 1700s.
