Making a Line

In technical analysis, a situation in which the price of a security moves up and down slightly but generally maintains equilibrium. This makes a chart of the security's price look roughly like a straight line. If the price breaks away from the line and goes downward, this is a bearish indicator. On the other hand, if the price breaks upward, this is a bullish indicator.
