Neftezavodsk

an urban-type settlement under the jurisdiction of Chardzhou city council, Chardzhou Oblast, Turkmen SSR. Located on the left bank of the Amu Darya River, 70 km northwest of Chardzhou. Neftezavodsk was established in 1973 in connection with the construction of the Chardzhou petroleum refinery.
