(2) (Ultra High Definition) A TV or computer monitor with 2,160 lines of resolution (see 4K TV). Years ago, Ultra HD referred to 1,080 lines, which today is the common resolution on new TVs and should be the bare minimum for any computer screen. See 1080p and high-resolution monitor.
