• 10% extra-adrenal;
• 10% occur in children;
• 10% associated with other systemic disease (e.g., von Recklinghausen’s disease, von Hippel-Lindau syndrome, Sturge-Weber disease, multiple endocrine neoplasia (MEN) IIa and IIb).
