Vysokovsk

a city (until 1940, a settlement), in Moscow Oblast, RSFSR, located on the Viaz River, 10 km west of the city of Klin, with which it is connected by a railroad branch. Population, 12,500 (1969). There is a spinning and weaving factory (since 1883), a brick factory, and a factory that makes decorations for New Year’s trees.
