Rotberg, Eugene Harvey

Rotberg, Eugene Harvey

(1930– ) investment banker, lawyer; born in Philadelphia. He worked in government and in private banking after graduating from Temple (1951) and the University of Pennsylvania Law School (1955). After serving as a Security and Exchange Commission lawyer (1963–66), he was vice-president and treasurer of the World Bank in Washington, D.C. (1969–87). He left the World Bank for Merrill, Lynch & Company in 1987.
