Location:8 miles west of Belfair on Highway 106.
Facilities:25 standard campsites, 22 utility campsites, group camp, shower, picnic areas, 2 kitchen shelters (with electricity), hiking trails, swimming area, boat launch, dock, moorage, ball field, horseshoe pit.
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, crabbing, oyster gathering, hiking, beachcombing, swimming, water-skiing.
Special Features:Soil in the park is "glacial till," an unlayered sediment which was deposited by glaciers over most of western Washington. The park is on Hood Canal, which is a canal in name only--it is actually a "fjord," a long narrow body of water open to the ocean and bordered at one end by steep cliffs or hills.
