Twenty-Sixth of July Movement

an organization of Cuban patriots formed after the armed action of F. Castro Ruz and his comrades against the regime of Batista y Zaldivar on July 26, 1953, in the city of Santiago de Cuba: it existed from 1953 to 1961 and was a component part of the United Revolutionary Organizations.
