receiver autonomous integrity monitoring[ri‚sēv·ər ȯ¦tän·ə·məs in′teg·rəd·ē ‚män·ə·triŋ] (navigation) A method of providing consistency for the Global Positioning System (GPS) within the user avionics by checking the consistency of range measurements from redundant observations on GPS satellites.
