Bendix Reinhardt

(1916-91), German-born US sociologist, best known for his work on the interpretation of Max Webers sociology (especially Max Weber: an Intellectual Portrait, 1960), and for his extensive work in historical and comparative sociology, including Work and Authority in Industry (1956), Social Mobility in Industrial Society (1959), and Nation Building and Citizenship (1964).
