Stanki I Instrument

(Machine Tools and Tooling), a monthly trade journal and organ of the Ministry of the Machine Tool and Instrument Industry of the USSR and of the Central Board of the Scientific and Technical Society of the Machinebuilding Industry. Stanki i instrument has been published in Moscow since 1930. It publishes articles devoted to the theory, design, manufacture, and use of metal-cutting machine tools, automatic transfer machines, machine-tool equipment, cutting and measuring tools, the modernization and repair of equipment, the automation of production, and the technology of machine-building and tool manufacture. Circulation, approximately 25,000 (1975). An English translation of the journal has been published by Melton Mowbray in Great Britain since 1959 under the title Machines and Tooling.
