Location:Off I-95 in the extreme eastern part of the state, near Newtown.
Facilities:Hostel, picnic areas (é), picnic groves (é), hiking trails (4 miles), bike trails (10 miles), bridle trails (9 miles), canoe rentals, boat launch, playfield, playgrounds, 27-hole disc golf course.
Activities:Boating (electric motors only), fishing, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, ice skating, sledding, tobogganing, nature programs.
Special Features:The Spring Garden Mill, once an active grain and feed mill, is now leased to the Langhorne Players, a local theater group. Park also features the Schofield Ford Covered Bridge, built in 1874. The 166-foot, two-span bridge has been rebuilt and sits on its original stone abutments and center pier.

Location:2 miles north of I-20 on Farm Road 14, north of Tyler.
Facilities:Campsites with full hookups, campsites with water and electricity hookups, tent camping, group camp, showers, restrooms, day-use group facility, screened shelters, picnic areas, hiking trails, bike trails, boat ramp, boat rentals, fishing pier, amphitheater, park store, playground.
Activities:Camping, boating (5 mph speed limit), fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking.
Special Features:Park includes a 64-acre lake with good fishing for crappie, perch, catfish, and bass.
