reduplicative paramnesia (rĭ-doop′lĭ-kāt″ĭv) A rare psychiatric disorder in which the patient is convinced that the environment in which he is living has been duplicated brick by brick and leaf by leaf in another location. It is usually diagnosed in people who have suffered a focal brain injury (e.g., to the right hemisphere of the brain). |
