Special Features:Refuge claims the largest nesting colony of Franklin's gulls in the world.
Habitats: 22,000 acres of marsh, open water, woodlands, grasslands, and croplands.
Access: Open from sunrise to sunset between early April and mid-October.
Wild life: Giant Canada geese, ring-necked pheasants, red foxes, and white-tailed deer.
