Tiukalinsk

a city and administrative center of Tiukalinsk Raion, Omsk Oblast, RSFSR; located 79 km northeast of the Nazyvaevskaia railroad station on the Ishim-Omsk line and 134 km northwest of Omsk. Reinforced-concrete products are manufactured in the city, which also has a creamery and a branch of an automotive repair plant. Local educational institutions include a sovkhoz technicum and a pedagogical school.
