physiographic diagram

[¦fiz·ē·ə¦graf·ik ′dī·ə‚gram] (geology) A small-scale map showing landforms by the systematic application of a standardized set of simplified pictorial symbols that represent the appearance such forms would have if viewed obliquely from the air at an angle of about 45°. Also known as landform map; morphographic map.
