Uda Range
Uda Range
a mountain range in the Vostochnyi Saian Mountains. The Uda Range, which forms the divide between the Uda and Khamsara rivers, is 140 km long and rises to an elevation of 2,875 m. It is composed of gneisses, schists, marbles, and other rocks. The slopes are covered with cedar and larch taiga. Above 1,700–1,800 m there are alpine meadows on the southwestern slopes and high-mountain tundra on the northeastern slopes.
