Location:32 miles south and west of Lander, off Highway 28.

Special Features:This once-thriving gold camp was also the birthplace of women's rights in Wyoming and home of the first woman judge in America, Esther Hobart Morris. One of the most authentic historic sites in existence, 30 original buildings have been restored and furnished, including the school house, the general store, the hotel, and two saloons. Thirty thousand artifacts are housed in the buildings, of which approximately 90 percent are authentic to the site.
