Soviet-Cypriot Agreements

Diplomatic relations were established between the USSR and Cyprus on Aug. 18, 1960. The two countries concluded agreements on trade and payments (Dec. 22,1961), air transportation (Feb. 29,1964), mutual deliveries of goods (Mar. 27, 1968), cooperation in radio and television broadcasting (July 17, 1969), mutual deliveries of goods for the period 1973–77 (Nov. 3, 1972), and economic and technical cooperation (Oct. 1,1975).
