Siazan

a city (until 1954, the settlement of Kyzyl-Burun) in Divichi Raion, Azerbaijan SSR; situated on the coastal lowland. Railroad station (Kizil-Burun) on the Baku-Gudermes line. Population, 15,000 (1975). Petroleum is extracted in the area, and the city has an oil refinery for the production of gas and gasoline.
