Union of National, Democratic, and Peace-Loving Forces of South
Union of National, Democratic, and Peace-Loving Forces of South Vietnam
(UNDPF; official name, Union of National, Democratic, and Peace-loving Forces of Vietnam), a patriotic public organization in South Vietnam, founded in April 1968. From its inception, the UNDPF supported the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam. After the Paris agreement on Vietnam was signed in 1973, it fought for strict and absolute fulfillment of the agreement by all signatories. After the fall of the Saigon puppet regime in South Vietnam in 1975, it spoke out in favor of reunification of South and North Vietnam. In 1977 the UNDPF united with other mass political and public organizations of the country to form the Patriotic Front of Vietnam.
