Schultz-Dale re·ac·tion

(shūlts dāl), the contraction of an excised intestinal loop (Schultz) or of an excised strip of virginal uterus (Dale) from a sensitized animal (for example, guinea pig) that occurs when the tissue is exposed to the specific antigen.
