Pytalovo

a city (since 1933) and administrative center of Pytalovo Raion, Pskov Oblast, RSFSR. Pytalovo is located on the Utroia River, a tributary of the Velikaia River, 102 km southwest of Pskov. Railroad lines connect it to Pskov, Riga, and Daugavpils. Pytalovo has a flax-processing plant, a milk plant, and a factory that produces clothing and clothing accessories and notions.
