Tekhnika I Vooruzhenie

 

(Technology and Armaments), a monthly military and technical journal; organ of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR. The journal was founded in Moscow in April 1925 and was published under the title Voina i tekhnika (War and Technology) until 1932. Publication was suspended between June 1942 and October 1960.

The journal publicizes the decisions of the CPSU and the Soviet government on aspects of scientific and technical progress in the armed forces, and it publishes materials on the development of modern weapons, the training of specialists in various fields in military units and military educational institutions, aspects of engineering psychology, and technical training. Other topics include the use of military technology, the planning and functioning of military repair operations, and the development of the technology and armament of the armies of the leading capitalist countries.
