Rheinfelden

(rīn`fĕldən), town, Aargau canton, N Switzerland, on the Rhine River, opposite the German town of the same name. Although it has one of the largest hydroelectric plants in Europe, Rheinfelden is chiefly noted as a tourist center with saline baths.
