1. A buy limit order in which the limit price is higher than the current ask.

2. A sell limit order in which the limit price is lower than the current bid.

Better price limit orders indicate that the order makers are willing to pay more or accept less than the market price. This means they are filled immediately. As a result, they are only available at the opening.
