Adygeiskaia Pravda

Russian-language newspaper, organ of the Adygei oblast committee of the CPSU and the oblast council of workers’ deputies. The newspaper has been published since October 1922. Until 1936 it appeared in Krasnodar under the names Cherkesskaia pravda, Adygeiskaia zhizn’ (Adygean Life), and Kolkhoznoe znamia (Banner of the Kolkhoz); since 1936 it has been published in Maikop under the name Adygeiskaia pravda. It appears five times a week and has a circulation of 30,000 (1968).
