Facilities:290 modern campsites, 25 rustic campsites, 25 equestrian campsites, 3rustic cabins, organization campground, picnic areas and shelters(é), playgrounds, hiking trails (@di; 38 miles), mountain bike trails(5 miles), equestrian trails (12 miles), snowmobile area, beach house(é), fishing piers (é), boat launches, concession/store,visitor/discovery center (é).

Special Features:The largest park in the Lower Peninsula, Waterloo Recreation Areaincludes 4 separate campgrounds, a day use area, beaches, 11 fishinglakes, and 8 boat launches, as well as miles of trails for a variety ofuses. The park's Discovery Center offers exhibits, interactivedisplays, and nature programs. The park is large and spread out, withdifferent routes leading to different types of facilities.
