Williams, Frank Williams, Frank (1937–2010)An architect of many New York City skyscrapers, including Trump Place and 515 Park Avenue. He designed high-rise luxury apartment towers for Zeckendorf, as well as Donald Trump, Madison Equities, and the Monian Group. Williams also designed the W Hotel at Times Square, the residential portion of World Wide Plaza on Ninth Avenue, and the Four Seasons Hotel on East 57th Street in collaboration with l. M. Pei. Williams was a consultant to the Regional Plan Association in New York City and, with Rai Okamoto, authored 1969’s Urban Design Manhattan, an influential study on managing growth in Midtown Manhattan. |
