Zangelan

a city (settlement until 1967), the administrative center of Zangelan Raion in southern Azerbaijan SSR. It has a railroad station on a branch from the Baku-Nakhichevan’ line. Population, 4,000 (1970). It is the site of a grape sovkhoz.
