Zhvava-Kvara
Zhvava-Kvara
(Zhove-Kvara, Zhoekvara), a mountain river in the western Abkhazian ASSR. The river is 20 km long; it cuts through the limestone of the western slopes of the Gagra Range in a deep, scenic canyon. The city of Gagra stands near the mouth of the Zhvava-Kvara, which runs into the Black Sea.
