Special Features:Park is an estate that was owned by NewYork surgeon Frederick Shepherd Dennis and given to the state in 1935. The 1,627-foot summit pavilion(formerly a summer residence) offers views of Haystack Mountain, MountGreylock in Massachusetts, the Green Mountains, and a portion of thestate of New Hampshire. The park is especially beautiful during thefall foliage season.
