Chekanovskii Ridge

a mountain ridge bordering the Lena delta on the southwest, in the Yakut ASSR. Chekanovskii Ridge is 320 km long and consists of Mesozoic sandstones, aleurolites, and argillaceous schists. It has an elevation of 450–500 m, with a maximum height of 529 m. Tundra with lichens and shrubs predominates.
