(sī″klō-pĕn′tō-lāt) A moderately long-acting drug used as a cycloplegic and mydriatic.

cyclopentolate hydrochloride 

An antimuscarinic (or parasympatholytic) drug used as a short duration mydriatic and cycloplegic. Common concentrations are 0.5% and 1.0% as cycloplegic and 0.1% as mydriatic. See acetylcholine; cycloplegia; mydriasis.
