Location:15 miles northeast of Milton, off US 90.
Facilities:30 full-facility campsites (electric and water hookups), pavilions and other picnic areas and shelters, nature trails.
Activities:Camping, canoeing/kayaking (Blackwater River is a designated canoetrail), tubing, swimming, freshwater fishing, hiking,wildlife viewing, interpretive programs (seasonal).
Special Features:Blackwater River is considered to be one of the purest sandbottomrivers in the US. One of the Atlantic white cedars that line the shoreof river was recognized in 1982 as a Florida Champion tree, one of theoldest and largest of its species.
