a balneological and pelotheraputic resort in L’vov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Situated 80 km from L’vov and 7 km from the railroad station of Rogatin. The summer is moderately warm (mean July temperature 18°C), and the winter moderately mild (mean January temperature –5°C). The annual precipitation reaches 730 mm. Curative agents include sulfide sulfate-hydrocarbonate-calcium-magnesium water and sulfate calcium water (used for baths) and peat mud. Treatment is available for diseases of the organs of motion and support, gynecological diseases, and diseases of the peripheral nervous system. The resort has a sanatorium and a balneological and pelotherapeutic clinic.
