Canoe Paddle Rib

A rib deformity seen in Hurler and Hunter type mucopolysaccharidoses, with a spatula-like narrowing at the vertebral origin and widening of the middle of the ribs, ending in a ‘bullet-nose’ broadening at the anterior end; canoe paddles also occur in craniocarpotarsal dysplasia or Freeman-Sheldon syndrome, or may refer to the distal femur in Pyle’s disease
