释义 | BogoMipsBogoMips(unit)A BogoMips is an unscientific measurement of processor speedmade by the Linux kernel when it boots, to calibrate aninternal busy-loop. BogoMips MiniHowto. BogoMips(BOGus Millions of Instructions Per Second) An approximate measurement of processor performance developed by Linus Torvalds, Linux's creator. When Linux is booted, it calculates a timing loop based on the processor it is running in. This data provides a rating of speed that is considered useful, but not 100% scientific for comparing different CPUs, since there are other contributing factors to performance. The use of MIPS (millions of instructions per second) has often been considered an invalid measurement of computer performance. See Linux.BOGOMIPS
